"In 2024, Parish President Cointment began assembling a team of highly skilled professionals with expertise in various technology fields to initiate a comprehensive and coordinated approach to Performance and Accountability, as well as Data Analytics. Building on this foundation, in 2025, he formally established the Data Analytics department that integrates Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) efforts into a unified, data-driven centralized structure. This new department aims to enhance transparency and implement data-driven decision-making methodologies."

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Data Analytics Department serves as the cornerstone of organizational excellence, employing cutting-edge technology and data-driven methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, strategic planning, and accountability across the organization. This department is entrusted with evaluating and optimizing the performance of all organizational departments and utilizes advanced software, integrated data systems and solutions, and innovative technologies, tools and insights as necessary to enable the organization to operate at peak efficiency, achieve measurable results, and fulfill their strategic vision and objectives. This is being done by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, innovation, and collaboration, that strives to ensure every decision, action, and initiative is guided by reliable data and executed with maximum efficiency. The department is structured into three highly specialized divisions, each playing a critical role in the organization’s operational success:

Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

The GIS division is a vital component of the organization’s infrastructure management strategy. By utilizing advanced geospatial technologies and data visualization tools, GIS provides unparalleled insight into the organization’s assets, including their location, condition, and lifecycle.
